Fabricated Jacket

Hello Jacket of the Week fan. We've been on hiatus after the feds nearly shut us down. No they didn't but whatever. We've been busy researching new people with looks straight out of central casting but so far it has been no dice on producing a spin-off to an already underwhelming blog. This week's submission comes from none other than Mrs. Jacket herself. So that's probably a  pretty big deal around these parts, if anything around here has the potential to be a big deal. So let's get to it.

First things first. I'm glad Mrs. Jacket had a full charge before she sent us this earth-shattering photo. Secondly if there was ever an opportunity to shut down this blog it would be now. Basically Mrs. Jacket is telling us that for a price anyone can be Jacket by buying this beardo and therefore we are all Jackets and the world is just one big monolith comprised of Jacket wannabes. She in fact is beating the world because she is aligning herself with the real deal and the rest of us are just poser losers who are all dying to be Jacket. So that's that. But no despite this devasting news Jacket of the Week will carry on. We hope you enjoyed this week's Jacket of the Week. Until next time.

Strong Jacket

Hello Jacket of the Week fan(s). The fan count is still in doubt. Maybe 1, maybe 2, maybe none.  The best part of this blog is that is about a man that we haven't seen in over a year and maybe three times in two years. So even though our Jacket morale is low we are still committed to the cause. And that cause is finding promoting the Jacket of look of bald and beard. So let's get right into it....

Yes, there he is, "Strong Jacket." For those of you who do not know that man he is none other than Mark Strong. English Actor. He was in Syriana, Sherlock Holmes, regrettably John Carter among other films. He has the Jacket look down pat. Beard length and side hair length identical. He may be classing it up a bit too much with that three piece suit he is wearing. . Nonetheless he is our Strong Jacket, and a fine Jacket indeed. Hope you enjoyed this week's Jacket of the Week. Until next time....

Inside the Jacket's closet

Hello to all the Jacket of the Week fan(s) out there. And so it goes as we are now entering into the 27th week of Jackets. So we are over a half of a year into this endeavor and we have had some damn fine Jackets added to out closet. This week we are going to add a Jacket that will will help us go inside the closet and may even interview a Jacket or two before this is all said and done. So without further ado, let's get right into the unveiling...

Yes here he is. Our latest Jacket. That is James Lipton of Inside the Actor's studio. He was suggested a couple months ago by one of the three people that have ever read this blog.  Lipton is a great addition to our closet because not only does he possess the Jacket style of bald, beard,  and sometimes glasses but he also adds a touch of class and pretension where needed. Lipton is like Jacket only he is nothing at all like Jacket, so he's got that going for him at least. This is how we imagine Jacket will look in 8 years if he wears a powerful brown suit and his left eye starts to droop.  Anyway we hope you enjoyed this week's Jacket of the Week. Until next time.

Varsity Jacket

Hello Jacket of the Week fan(s). It's that time of the week again. When we unveil yet another great Jacket to our collection. This week is the start of football season so we thought we should continue with that theme. This is a great Jacket, a historical Jacket, a cultural Jacket. Let's now waste any more time and get into the unveiling.

Yes there he is, a man you may or may not remember. That is the Nigerian nightmare, Christian Okoye. Now he will be forever known as "Varsity Jacket." Okoye is known for his Tecmo Bowl prowess and two 1000 yard seasons. In this photo Varsity Jacket is sporting a neatly trimmed beard, a bald head, the biggest biceps of all time and a sweet pair of Zubaz pants. Varsity Jacket is the first All-Pro in our closet and might be the most stylish due to those sweet, sweet pair of Zubaz. With those 19 inch bis we known who will be calling all the shots among fellow Jackets.  We hope you enjoyed this week's addition. Until next time...

Folk Jacket

Greetings Jacket of the Week fans. Oh wait. We no longer have any fans. We have finally reached our goal of having no one visit this site. Absolute 0. 0 on the Kelvin Scale if you will.  Was it hard? Kind of. It took almost half a year. There is greater interest in Jacket doppelgangers than you would think. So here we are, a blog that has become more of an obsession diary at this point. So to any potential Jacket of the Week fans that may read this post some time in the future, let's get to the unveiling...

Here we have this week's Jacket titled "Folk Jacket." It is none other than folk singer William Fitzsimmons. Folk Jacket is dressed as though it is 1895. It is not 1895, Folk Jacket. In fact it is not even 1995. So you are way off base in your fashion sense. But like Jacket, who wears bright orange sweatshirts, both are moving to the beat of their own fashion drum. Although from a comparison standpoint Folk Jacket still has all his hair and his beard is much more powerful, he still lives in the same Jacket universe.  So there you have it future Jacket of the Week fan. I hope you enjoyed this week's addition. Until next time...

American Jacket

Hello Jacket of the Weeks fan(s). Last week we got blasted for going with another Baseball player Jacket. Threats were made, listened to and understood. This week we are trying to come back with a much better Jacket. With the Olympics winding down and the USA leading the medal count we thought we would go with a Patriotic Jacket. A Jacket we could all get behind. So let's get right into this Patriotic Jacket, this American Jacket...

Here we have our American Jacket. This American Jacket is attempting to encapsulate all things Jacket. First he enjoys a good smoke, the way all Jackets do. Secondly with a beard like that he is clearly a hippy-liberal like all Jackets and finally he is wearing a well-fitted suit when he would prefer to be wearing cargo shorts and Birkenstocks while listening to the crunchiest grooves known to man. Now his beard is more powerful than your typical Jacket but let that not diminish the fact that he is indeed still a Jacket. This is the time to be patriotic and American Jacket is leading the way. Thank you American Jacket. Until next time...

Batting Cage Jacket

Hello Jacket of the Week fan(s). Not sure if more than one person looks at this blog. It's like a roller coaster between 1-5 fans. So here we are. We have arrived at yet another unveiling. So let's get right into it. (Note: posted this picture and completely forgot that last week we did it on Kevin Youkilis. That would be back to back baseball references here. In a word, whoops)

Yes there he is, "Batting Cage" Jacket. He is also known as former NLCS Phillie killer Cody Ross. Are we fond of this guy at Jacket of the Week? No, we're not. But you can't deny this Jacket's striking resemblance to the real Jacket. The funny thing about this Jacket is that even though he looks younger than Jacket, we're pretty sure they are the same age. Even though we arent' too keen on this Jacket  it's not as though you like every Jacket that's in your closet. Also we've kept with the trend of barely recognizable celebrities. That concludes this week's Jacket of the Week. Until next time...
