Folk Jacket

Greetings Jacket of the Week fans. Oh wait. We no longer have any fans. We have finally reached our goal of having no one visit this site. Absolute 0. 0 on the Kelvin Scale if you will.  Was it hard? Kind of. It took almost half a year. There is greater interest in Jacket doppelgangers than you would think. So here we are, a blog that has become more of an obsession diary at this point. So to any potential Jacket of the Week fans that may read this post some time in the future, let's get to the unveiling...

 

Here we have this week's Jacket titled "Folk Jacket." It is none other than folk singer William Fitzsimmons. Folk Jacket is dressed as though it is 1895. It is not 1895, Folk Jacket. In fact it is not even 1995. So you are way off base in your fashion sense. But like Jacket, who wears bright orange sweatshirts, both are moving to the beat of their own fashion drum. Although from a comparison standpoint Folk Jacket still has all his hair and his beard is much more powerful, he still lives in the same Jacket universe.  So there you have it future Jacket of the Week fan. American Jacket

Hello Jacket of the Weeks fan(s). Last week we got blasted for going with another Baseball player Jacket. Threats were made, listened to and understood. This week we are trying to come back with a much better Jacket. With the Olympics winding down and the USA leading the medal count we thought we would go with a Patriotic Jacket. A Jacket we could all get behind. So let's get right into this Patriotic Jacket, this American Jacket...

Here we have our American Jacket. This American Jacket is attempting to encapsulate all things Jacket. First he enjoys a good smoke, the way all Jackets do. Secondly with a beard like that he is clearly a hippy-liberal like all Jackets and finally he is wearing a well-fitted suit when he would prefer to be wearing cargo shorts and Birkenstocks while listening to the crunchiest grooves known to man. Now his beard is more powerful than your typical Jacket but let that not diminish the fact that he is indeed still a Jacket. This is the time to be patriotic and American Jacket is leading the way. Batting Cage Jacket

Hello Jacket of the Week fan(s). Not sure if more than one person looks at this blog. It's like a roller coaster between 1-5 fans. So here we are. We have arrived at yet another unveiling. So let's get right into it. (Note: posted this picture and completely forgot that last week we did it on Kevin Youkilis. That would be back to back baseball references here. In a word, whoops)

Yes there he is, "Batting Cage" Jacket. He is also known as former NLCS Phillie killer Cody Ross. Are we fond of this guy at Jacket of the Week? No, we're not. But you can't deny this Jacket's striking resemblance to the real Jacket. The funny thing about this Jacket is that even though he looks younger than Jacket, we're pretty sure they are the same age. Even though we arent' too keen on this Jacket  it's not as though you like every Jacket that's in your closet. Also we've kept with the trend of barely recognizable celebrities. Baseball Jacket

Hello to all our Jacket of the Week fans out there. It is that special time of the week. The inevitable time of the week. Like death and taxes there will always be a Jacket of Week (except those couple times when we skipped it). So here we are again celebrating the summer sun and soaking in its cosmic rays, and sipping on some cool suds. This week we will be keeping with our summer theme we will adding a baseball jacket. Let us get to the unveiling....

Yes there he is. This week's jacket titled "Baseball Jacket." If you don't know who that is that is Chicago White Sox third baseman Kevin Youkilis (formerly of the Boston Red Sox). Is "Baseball Jacket" a future hall of famer? No. Is he currently a superstar? No. Is he even a star? At this point, no. So that's the type of celebrities we add here at Jacket of the Week. They certainly aren't A list. Debatable B listers. But hey, at least they are in the debate. Got to be in it to win it, is one of the mottos here at Jacket of Week. And that's one we live by. Across the Bar Jacket

Hello Jacket of the Week fans. It's that time of the week. Another revelation. This week's addition was sent to us by a friend of the real Jacket. Now he is our friend He not only sent the picture but provided the title as well.  So we thank you for this great image of another great looking Jacket. Let's get right into the unveiling...

This week's Jacket has been titled "Across the bar Jacket." Here our friend was at a bar thinking he was there alone but then realized you are never alone anywhere you go because there are Jackets all around you. It's really impossible to say this isn't the Real Jacket. In fact, we defy you to make this claim. Everyone knows Jacket enjoys a cold beverage. If he's anything like the real Jacket I would imagine that beverage to be a Jack and Coke. Of course it is, because you can't determine that he's not the real Jacket.  Even if he weren't the real Jacket, it's a known fact that Jack and Cokes, hereafter renamed Jackets and Cokes, are official drink of all Jackets everywhere. Double Jacket

Hello Jacket of the Week fans. It's that time of the week. The best part of the week. Not so much the end of the work week as it is yet another glorious unveiling of our latest and greatest Jacket of the Week. This week you are getting two Jackets for the price of one. Can't beat it. So let's get right into the unveiling...

This week's Jacket is titled Double Jacket. Now you are probably wondering why we didn't title it homosexual Jacket. There are a few reasons for this. One who is to say we haven't already posted several homosexual Jackets already. Why should this week get such a designation as though these are the only two gay guys posted when we might have already posted 1, 5, 10? Who knows. Secondly these guys might not be gay. But seriously how often do you get two guys who look vaguely like Jacket that are in love with one another. It's just not that often. Great opportunity for us and you. We are proud to add these two Jackets to our collection. Until next time... 

Punk Jacket

Hello Jacket of the Week fan(s). It's that time of the week. It is time to unveil yet another Jacket into what has blossomed into the most illustrious collection of Jackets on the Eastern seaboard. Let's just get right into it.

This week's Jacket is titled Punk Jacket because that is none other than WWE superstar CM Punk. If you don't know who CM Punk is then you clearly don't know anything. With Summerslam about a month away we thought it was a great time to add a great wrestler to our collection. And with one of the most popular wrestlers available to turn into a Jacket we had to jump at the opportunity.  Does CM Punk look like the real Jacket? No, probably not. But he has most of the right features. If only he were involuntarily bald instead of voluntarily bald then we would have been cooking with gas. Oh well, can't win them all.
